​Queer content has always managed to find its way into Salient (mostly by our hand), however, something special exists between Salient and UniQ that can never be broken (we hope). Whether this be through Queerlient or our regular columns, UniQ provides queer students with the opportunity to contribute to the 'organ of student opinion' that is Salient.

Queerlient is the issue of Salient that UniQ curates and constructs. We provide a platform for queer students to speak out about the issues they care about. It is the product of a progressive and positive relationship between Salient and UniQ that sees UniQ recognised as the foremost representatives of queer student voice on campus. As a result, once a year, we come in as the guest editor for an issue that has been quaintly titled Queerlient. Below is a collection of our previous works.
